AMBER
INTRODUCTION
PureTherm 1001C Amber is a clear, rigid PVC film. This film is the same as PureTherm 1001C with
the addition of Amber Tint designed to allow for the packaging of light sensitive pharmaceutical
products. This film meets USP standards as well as HPB and FDA (DMF-8668) requirements.
Applications include blister packaging of tablets, capsules, lozenges, and suppositories,
as well as use in laminations.

Typical transmission values for PureTherm 1001C Amber tint are well below the USP standard in the critical 290 - 450 nm range as illustrated below. This data was obtained through standard spectrophotometer analysis.
