RIGID PVC

INTRODUCTION
PureTherm ESD1500 is a high-clarity, static dissipative, rigid PVC based plastic sheet. This thermoformable product for trays, lids and clamshell containers, provides superior structural and electrostatic protection for sensitive electronic components. PureTherm ESD1500 meets or exceeds Military Specification MIL-B-81705-C, EIA-541, EOS/ESD S11.11 and Bellcore GR-1421-CORE requirements for surface resistivity and static decay at 12% relative humidity. Available in 10 to 40 mil, the proprietary PureTherm ESD1500 process is non-humidity dependent and offers long-lasting shelf life.

PRODUCT TESTING
PurePlast Inc. (PPi) tests physical and electrical properties and qualifies all materials at the PPi Cambridge, Ontario technical center under rigorous test conditions by simulating various environments and accelerating the aging process. When standard industrial or governmental test procedures exist, PPi verifies internally generated results with testing at appropriate independent laboratories. Documentation is available upon request.

PRODUCT CERTIFICATION
PPi certifies, with every order, that the electrostatic properties of PureTherm ESD1500 are in full compliance with the requirements for static dissipative materials as described in EIA-541 and EOS/ESD S11.11. PPi will certify similar compliance with Bellcore GR-1421-CORE on request.

BELLCORE TESTING
PureTherm ESD1500 material when tested meets or exceeds the folllowing Bellcore generic requirements as in the document GR-1421-CORE, issue 2, June 1995 entitled "Generic Reqirements for ESD Protective Circuit Pack Containers":

Above tests have been performed on clamshell containers using PureTherm ESD1500 material at 30 mil thickness and drawn to a depth of 2.5 inches. Independent laboratory test results are available upon request.
